Eddie Paul has worked with tools his entire life. From inventing to custom fabricating to movie cars, tools have been a central part of Eddie's life. Eddie has worked with almost every tool known to man, and has even invented a few to finish projects he has worked on.

With Eddie Paul's Tool Talk, Eddie hopes to bring his knowledge and expertise to you, the hobbyist or shop worker, to better assist you in your daily work. From new tools or products to better ways to get your product on the market, Eddie has the tips and tricks to make any project succeed.

 

Our Shows

Tool Talk aims to introduce people to various tools and products Eddie has worked and found success with. From laser alignment systems to UV cured resin, there are tons of tools out there that can help you get your projects done.

Show 1

For our premier show, Eddie speaks with Gary Fisher about Solarez fiberglass Resin and associated products. Throughtout the years, Eddie has worked on many fiberglass projects, from sharks to automobiles. Solarez makes working with Fiberglass easy to work with as it cures in 3 minutes when exposed to UV light.

On Eddie's second show, he sits down with Tru-Line's Lesley Cook to discuss Tru-Line's wheel alignment tools. Over the years, Eddie has built cars for many movies including GREASE, The Fast and the Furious, and XxX, and a great tool to facilitate the building of these movie cars is an alignment machine from Tru-Line.

On our 3rd show, Eddie sits down with Micheal from Hypertherm, discussing everything you need to know about Plasma cutting. A plasma cutter is an invaluable tool for any shop, and many projects Eddie has undertaken have been completed with the help of a Hyperthem Plasma Cutter.

For the fourth show, Eddie talks with Jack Fleming from Roadstercycle. Jack is a logntime friend of Eddie's, and like Eddie, has plenty of experience with tools and machines. ROADSTERCYCLE.COM

Eddie speaks with Mark Dugally from MADercycles. Mark is a custom fabricator and designer of motorcycles. Pushing the limits of motorcycle design, Mark and Eddie discuss whats to come in the future of motorcycles.

In this show, Eddie sits down with Jay Leno's Big Dog Garage General Manager, Bernard Juchli. Bernard oversees all happpenings in Jay's shop, and is the one tasked with working on the cars when something goes wrong. Due to the nature of Jay's collection, may pieces need to be fabricated, and Bernard is usually the one for the job.

Eddie talks with fellow customizer Ron Covell. Ron spent much of his career working on custom motorcycles and street rods. He and Eddie discuss the tools they've both used to finish their custom projects and turn out some of the craziest rods around.

Eddie's guest on his eigth show is David Marder. David and Eddie are longtime friends, with David also being in the hollywood business for many years. David worked on many different movies and shows and Eddie was usually contacted for all the necessary cars and car related business.

For Tool Talk's 11 show, Eddie interviews Bob Barns from Verne's chrome. Verne's is a local South Bay chrome shop that has been delivering show quality chrome for over 40 years.

Dave Yancho from Workshop Hero is Eddie's 12th guest on Eddie Paul's Tool Talk. The two discuss Workshop Hero's rust removal and rust preventative products. Working in a shop, more often than not you will run into rust. Workshop Hero offers a very user friendly rust remover and preventative that is very effective at dealing with all sorts of rust parts and tools.

Show 13 has South Bay Custom's Micheal Schreiber as a guest. In this show, he and Eddie discuss various motorcycle related things and what it takes to design and fabricate those two wheeled hot rods we love.

For our 14th show, Eddie addresses finding a job in todays economy. Tool Talk often appeals to the budding shop worker, and for many of those aspiring workers, they are currently seeking work. Eddie gives the tips and tricks he has learned over the years to many new workers who are looking for an edge in todays job market.

On show 15 of Eddie Pauls Tool Talk, eddie revisits with Lesley Cooke from Tru-Line. This time around, Eddie gets a little more personal with lesley and the history behind Tru-Line.

Eddie Paul's Tool Talk show 16 has guest Richard "Army" Maguire. Army has been a professional animal trainer for most his adult life. He is the owner of Ageless Strength Productions. Army has worked with Eddie to bring a number of his fitness prototypes to life, and they discuss the process of bringing such products to market.

Eddie discusses Dan Condon's work on hot rods and customs in his shop in Palm Desert, CA. Dan worked on the Grease Car built by Eddie Paul for now owner Scott Byrum. They go through the history of the car and the elaborate process to restore it back to its movie heyday.

Show 18

Eddie and a couple of old friends (John and Rich the Cop) talk about some funny facts that came about during a few of the past builds for film projects. Some of these stories have never been told before and one of them involved a large animal of the rodent family that got lose in his shop terrorizing them all and the tools involved in the elimination of that menace.
